Summer fun at Apron Strings!

Challenge #1 is a PageMaps sketch. This is a great sketch!
I pulled lots of "oldies, but goodies" from my stash for this page.

5 on Friday at Apron Strings

We are to use these five items on our layout.

1 sheet cardstock - red, orange or yellow
1 sheet patterned paper with circles or waves
1 set epoxy embellishments (you can create your own if necessary with Diamond Glaze
1 length of trim
1 set of metalic embellishments

I made the wheels on the bike on my title spot for my epoxy embellishment.

We have a challenge for Wednesday at Apron Strings to use this sketch from Sketchy Thursdays.

Monday challenge at Apron Strings

Today's challenge is to be inspired by an outfit; its color, texture, pattern, shape, whatever. I chose this purse.OK, so it's not an outfit.


And this is the layout I came up with.

Apron Strings 5 on Friday

Been awhile since I joined in on "5 on Friday" at Apron Strings.

This week's requirements are:

1) 1 sheet cardstock
2) 1 sheet patterned "manly" paper
3) 1 set metallic embellishments
4) 1 set chipboard - keep it naked, if it starts out that way
5) 1 length of felt trim (if you don't have felt trim, any trim will do)
BONUS: extra entry if you make it a "manly" layout as well

And I have:

1) blue cardstock
2) PP from this month's Bella Blvd Man of the House
3) set of metallic clips
4) bird and hearts chipboard (I think Crate Paper)
5) felt trim is the black rick rack
and BONUS--the LO is about my sweetie and his love for birds.
