Today create a layout that incorporates diecut paper, whether you cut it yourself or use some pre-cut paper.
First part, die cut paper, easy. Knew what I wanted to do with the title die cut. Knew what pics I wanted to use. Played around with 5 different background papers. This just felt right for the farm theme. Love my Daisy D! Wish they hadn't closed up.
But, the pictures just didn't wanna mesh. The kids had on pink, purple, blue, red, hot pink, you name, then mix in the pumpkin. YIKES! So, I finally decided to convert two to black and white. Not my favorite layout, but done.
Converting the photos to B&W worked really well, and the colour matching between the diecut and the paper is great!
ReplyDeleteI miss Daisy D's too! Love the feel of the page and the mix of color and B&W photos really works with the vintage feel of the photos. I'd say good job!
